In class, she’s going to different worlds

So she’s not present in this one

She’s with Harry, fighting dragons in the Tri-wizard tournament

She’s with Katniss, trying her best to stay alive

And leading the revolution

She’s with Heathcliff, battling for Kathy’s affections

In Forks, trying to figure out what Bella is thinking

How could she focus on long division

When she’s Looking for Alaska?

Or pay attention to states and capitals 

When there’s an evil clown terrorizing Derry?

Why isn’t she at the dance?

She saw what happened to Carrie. 

To take someone to these places

Takes quite a mind indeed

Why write, you ask?

I write for all the girls like me.
